Acceptable Use Policy

What This Page Is About

AIShortGen is a tool for creating short-form video content — educational stuff, explainers, marketing clips, fun facts, that kind of thing. This page sets the ground rules for what you can and cannot do with it. Pretty straightforward, but we have to spell it out.

Content You Can Create

Go wild with any of the following:

• Educational and informational videos
• Marketing and promotional content for your business
• Entertainment videos — fun facts, storytime, top 5 lists
• Tutorials and how-to content
• Commentary, opinion pieces, and reviews
• Motivational and inspirational content

Basically, if it is the kind of thing you would comfortably show a coworker, you are probably fine.

Content That Is Strictly Prohibited

Do not use AIShortGen to create any of the following:

• Sexually explicit or NSFW content — nudity, sexual acts, suggestive poses, undressing, or any sexually provocative material. No exceptions, no workarounds, no "but it is art" loopholes.
• Violence and gore — graphic depictions of violence, torture, self-harm, or anything designed to shock or disturb.
• Hate speech and discrimination — content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Harassment and bullying — content created to intimidate, threaten, or demean a specific person or group.
• Misinformation — deliberately false or misleading claims presented as fact, especially about health, elections, or public safety.
• Illegal activity — anything that promotes, instructs, or encourages breaking the law in any jurisdiction.
• Impersonation — content designed to impersonate real people, brands, or organizations without their permission.
• Spam and manipulation — mass-generated low-quality content designed to game algorithms or flood platforms.
• Child exploitation — any content involving minors in inappropriate, dangerous, or exploitative contexts. We report this to authorities immediately.

Content Moderation

AIShortGen uses AI-powered content generation. The underlying models (OpenAI, ElevenLabs) have their own safety filters built in. On top of that:

• Our script generation prompts include content safety guidelines
• We use stock footage from Pexels, which is pre-moderated for appropriateness
• We monitor usage patterns for signs of abuse
• We reserve the right to review content generated on our platform

No filter is perfect. If something slips through that should not have, that does not mean it is allowed — it means we missed it. Report it and we will address it.

What Happens If You Break the Rules

We are not here to play internet police, but we take this stuff seriously. If we find content that violates this policy:

• First offense — we will reach out and ask you to remove the content. Most of the time, people just did not realize they crossed a line.
• Repeated violations — account suspension. Your existing videos stay accessible for 30 days so you can download them, then they are removed.
• Severe violations — immediate account termination without warning. This includes anything involving child exploitation, credible threats of violence, or illegal activity. No refund, no discussion.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for the content you create and publish using AIShortGen. AI generates the scripts, voiceovers, and assembles the videos — but you click the button and you choose where to post it. Review your content before publishing. You are the editor-in-chief of your own channel.

Each social media platform (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram) also has their own community guidelines. Content that passes our rules might still violate theirs. That is between you and the platform.

Reporting Violations

If you come across content created with AIShortGen that violates this policy, let us know at [email protected]. Include as much detail as you can. We take every report seriously and investigate within one business day.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. If we make significant changes, we will let you know through email or an in-app notification. For smaller updates, we will just update this page. Continued use of AIShortGen after changes means you accept the updated policy.
