We want you to love AIShortGen. But if it is not the right fit, we are not going to hold your money hostage. Here is how refunds work — no fine print, no tricks.

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you sign up for a paid plan and decide within 14 days of your first payment that AIShortGen is not for you — full refund. No questions asked. No exit interview. No weird retention flow where we try to talk you out of leaving.

Just email us at [email protected] with the subject "Refund Request" and include the email on your account. We will process it and move on, no hard feelings.

Seriously. We would rather give you your money back than have you stick around unhappy. Life is too short for bad subscriptions.

After the 14-Day Window

Once the 14-day guarantee period passes, refunds are off the table for standard situations. This includes:

  • Renewal charges — if your subscription auto-renews for month two, that charge is not refundable
  • Mid-month cancellations — if you cancel on day 20 of your billing cycle, you keep access until the end of the period but do not get a prorated refund for the remaining 10 days
  • Unused credits — if you paid for unlimited reels but only made 3 this month, that is on you (but hey, go make some more — they are already paid for)

When you cancel, you keep all Pro features until your current billing period ends. We do not yank the rug out from under you the second you hit cancel.

Exceptions (Because Life Happens)

We are humans, not robots. There are situations where we will absolutely look at refund requests outside the standard window:

  • Service outages over 48 hours — if AIShortGen was down for two or more days during your billing period and you could not use the tool, that is on us. Talk to us.
  • Duplicate charges — glitches happen. If your card got charged twice, we will fix it immediately.
  • Unauthorized charges — if someone used your payment method without permission, let us know ASAP and we will sort it out.

For any of the above, email [email protected] and explain what happened. We will do the right thing.

Free Plan

The Free plan is, well, free. You did not pay us anything, so there is nothing to refund. If you are on the Free plan and unhappy, we are sorry to hear that — but financially speaking, you are in the clear.

How Refunds Get Processed

Once we approve your refund, it gets processed through Creem.io (our payment processor) back to whatever payment method you used. Banks and card issuers usually take 5 to 10 business days to show the credit — that part is on their end, not ours.

After a refund is issued, your account gets downgraded to the Free plan. Your existing reels and history stay intact — you just lose Pro features.
