So what exactly is AIShortGen?

It's a tool that makes short videos for you. Type in a topic, pick a format, and you get a finished video with a script, voiceover, captions, and stock clips. Usually takes less than a minute. Works for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, wherever.

Do I need to know how to edit video?

Nope. You literally just type a topic. The system writes the script, records the voiceover, finds matching footage, and puts the captions on. There's no timeline, no editing software, nothing like that.

How long until my reel is done?

Usually under a minute. If you turn on AI-generated visuals (Pro feature), it takes a bit longer since those images have to be created from scratch. Maybe 90 seconds or so in that case.

Where can I post the finished video?

You get a regular MP4 file in vertical format (9:16). So basically anywhere that takes vertical video. TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, Pinterest, you name it.

Can I make changes to the script before the video is made?

Absolutely, and honestly you should. Once the script preview shows up, you can rewrite any part of it, swap out the opening hook, redo sections you don't like, or add stuff. None of that costs you a credit.

When does a credit get used?

Only when you actually click the button to generate the final video. Looking at the script, editing it, changing things around, that's all free. Credits only go toward finished videos.

Do my credits come back every month?

If you're on Pro, yes. They reset when your billing cycle renews. Free plan credits are a one-time thing though. You get 2 and that's it.

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Yeah. Go to your settings and cancel. You still keep your plan until the time you already paid for runs out.

What's the refund situation?

What are AI Scenes exactly?

Instead of stock footage, the system creates original images that match your specific topic. Uses DALL·E 3, so they look pretty photorealistic. It's a Pro feature.

Which voices can I pick from?

There are 5 built-in voices: Nova (friendly sounding), Onyx (deeper), Alloy (clean and clear), Shimmer (warmer tone), and Fable (more bold). If you want even more options, Pro users can plug in their ElevenLabs key.

How do karaoke captions work?

Each word lights up right when it's being said in the voiceover. Kind of like how lyrics show up in karaoke apps. It actually keeps people watching longer because their eyes stay locked on the screen.

Can I record my own voiceover?

Not at the moment. Right now the voiceover is generated from the script automatically. But it's something we're planning to add down the road.

What does the tone option do?

It tells the system what vibe you want for the script. Options are Shocking (dramatic, urgent feel), Educational (informative, straightforward), Surprising (unexpected angle), or Motivational (uplifting). Totally optional.

What quality are the videos?

720p in H.264, which is the sweet spot for social media. Looks good on every platform but keeps the file size manageable so uploads are quick.

What's the deal with the watermark?

Free videos get a small semi-transparent "AIShortGen.com" mark in the corner. Not huge, but it's there. Going Pro removes it from everything you make.

How do I share a reel with someone?

Hit the Share button after your video is done and you get a link anyone can open in their browser. Or just download the MP4 and send it however you want.

What's the longest reel I can make?

Free users can go up to 30 seconds. Pro opens up 15, 30, and 60 second options.
